Soooooooo I completely abandoned my blog for the last 4 months. Life got in the way and I have had zero free time to write on my blog. I'm going to try and bring you up to speed with as many pictures as I can and as quickly as possible. I just went through the pictures on my phone and tried to remember everything that has happened since May so here we go...brace yourselves, there's a lot of pictures.
At the end of June we celebrated our 5th annual family reunion. It was a wonderful time as always. I wanted to dedicate an entire post to this like I usually do, but if I haven't done it in 3 months, it's probably not going to get done.
We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on June 29th! I also didn't get around to doing our anniversary post, but we did take our traditional anniversary picture.
This year we took it out on the golf course because we completely forgot all about it and then we realized we did it backwards, oh well.
We spent July 4th at our friend's land watching fireworks, playing wiffleball, kayaking, fishing, eating yummy food and watching fireworks!
At the end of July we celebrated my sister-in-law's 30th birthday with a surprise birthday party.
I also got to love on my sweet little niece.
During the month of August, I felt like I became a Dallas resident because I traveled there 3 out of the 4 weekends. The first weekend in August we saw the Dixie Chicks in concert with my best friend and her husband.
This guy knew how to do a concert up right. Aaron wants one of these so bad now!
The second weekend of August I was at salesmeetings for work at The Gaylord Texan.
The third weekend of August my best friend from college and I attended the wedding of our friend and college roomie. We had so much fun and the wedding was beautiful. It was a great girls weekend and much needed!
I also attended this pretty girl's wedding shower that morning before heading to Dallas. Can't wait to celebrate her bachelorette party this weekend!
The following weekend my best friend and her adorable baby boy came to visit us. Is he not the cutest thing ever?
Samson and Bradley were best friends.
After a long day of working on the farm, we picked up the boys and spent an evening discovering a local winery. We came home with lots of delicious wine.
By the first weekend of September, we were in desperate need of a relaxing getaway with just the two of us. We celebrated our anniversary a few months late with a Labor Day weekend trip to Fayetteville. We attended a Hogs football game, enjoyed dinner on Dickson Street, went shopping, visited War Eagle Mill and just enjoyed eachother's company. It was so nice and exactly what we needed.
We ran into our sweet friends from Mammoth and got to catch up with them.
Beautiful countryside in Arkansas. Miss this place!
War Eagle Mill
This past weekend I made a trip back home to celebrate my sweet friend, Stephanie's bridal shower. It was a wonderful weekend with friends and family.
And a trip back home isn't complete without loving on this precious little girl. She is getting so big and so fun. She smiles all the time and it's the sweetest thing. Love her precious chubby cheeks and thighs.
On top of all these shenanigans, I've been training for a half marathon at the end of November and I've been working non-stop on getting everything ready for my first craft fair next weekend. Here are a few pics of what I've been working on...
I'm looking forward to celebrating Aaron's birthday, two bachelorette parties and two weddings in the next few months. It's been a good kind of crazy over here, Aaron keeps telling me I need to get my life together because I'm constantly running around like a chicken with my head cut off, but hopefully soon I'll have more free time to devote to this blog...HAH we'll see about that! I don't know what I'd do if I got to come home every evening and sit on the couch....oh wait, I know, I'd go insane! If you've made it this far, thanks for following along. Hopefully it won't be 4 months before we meet again.
