New Onesies!

It has been a crazy few weeks filled with lots of baby fever!!! I have been a busy busy bee planning a baby shower and making onesies. I'm so thankful that so many people have shown an interest in them and placed orders, but it is definitely keeping me busy on my days off. I have a ton more to make this week so there will be more pictures to follow. If you've ordered onesies and haven't heard from me yet, I promise they are in the works and will be done as fast as my hands can work!These were the onesies I made for one of my best friends. She is having a baby boy named Christian in May! My cousin is a naval pilot and he and his wife are expecting a baby girl in June. My aunt requested that I make one that said "Navy Baby" for her shower.For baby Isabel.L is for Lillyan.I've also started making hair bows to go with the outfits!

What I've Been Up to Lately!

1. Making a bunch of onesie and tutu outfits. Here's the most recent outfit for a friend's niece that is turning one. If you've requested an outfit don't worry, it's currently in the works and I should be done with it shortly.

2. Meeting "The Pioneer Woman." She had a book signing at the Hastings in my home town. My mom went and waited in line from 5:30pm until 9:30pm. I met my mom there when I got off work and stood in line with her for about an hour. She autographed my cookbook and her love story and took a picture with us. She was sooooooooo sweet and absolutely beautiful and gracious! It was really fun to meet her and worth the wait.

3. Planning parties/baby showers and taking fun pictures. This is my friend Megan's little girl Kinsley. Megan, Kinsley, and I had a fun filled day of shopping, eating, and taking 1st birthday pictures. I'm planning my friend's baby shower and Megan is planning Kinsley's 1st birthday party so we had a lot of shopping to do. We had a trunk full of goodies and decorations that we found for the party. Can't wait to see how cute Kinsley's monkey themed birthday party will turn out. She LOVES monkeys, hence the monkey tea party picture.

4. Attending Trevor (my brother) and Ashley's engagement party. Ashley's mom made these cute rolls of mints as goodies to hand out at the party. What a cute idea. The back of the paper said save the date and had the wedding date.

That's about all the exciting new I have for you right now. I'm in the process of making three more cake stands and a lot of onesies so I'll post more pictures of those as I finish them.

Baby Girl Outfit!

A friend from work asked me to make custom outfits for her friend who is having twin girls. She wanted them to be all girl so we embellished them with lots of glitter, rhinestones, and ribbon. I had a blast making them and I'm pleased with how they turned out. They haven't yet decided on a name for the other baby girl so I've only completed one set. The other one will have the same exact tu-tu, but the onesie will be in pale pink and hot pink instead of purple. I'll post pictures of that one once it's done. More Baby Onesies!

These are some of the onesies I've been making for my friends. If you have a young one, or you know someone who has one (or is expecting), I'd love to custom make some onesies for you! I made this one for my friend's husband because he is a big hunter. For those of you who don't know this is the Browning symbol and it's basically a hunting symbol.

So these are the baby onesies I've been making for my friends who are expecting. They are so fun and easy to make. I just cut out the fabric and iron on adhesive and then iron and steam them onto the onesies. Then I take them over to my mom's house and she does all the stitching around the outer edges (thanks mom!)
