I can't believe my last blog post was a 2016 Year in Review post and now it's already been almost 3 months later. Life slow down!
Here's a recap of what I've been up to the last couple months.
I hosted a few painting parties! I'm sad to say I don't have any upcoming parties scheduled, but there's a good reason for that. Right now my schedule won't allow for it because we have some exciting news to share so stay tuned!
I also spent a lot of my evenings after work making baby gifts for all the sweet little ones being born.
I spent a weekend in January in Las Vegas for Redken Symposium with my work. It is a huge education event that they do every other year with famous hair dressers and educators from around the world. It was an incredible weekend and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to go!
Also in January, we became an aunt and uncle for the 2nd time and it was the biggest surprise of our lives! We are so obsessed with our sweet nephew and we think he is just perfect!
At the beginning of February, I helped host a baby shower in honor of my cousin, Blondell. It was so great to hang out with my family and celebrate my cousin.
How cute is my niece and her beautiful momma?!?
The proud parentals.
We also got to celebrate this adorable little girl's birthday!!
And I got to meet this gorgeous gal for the first time. She is so precious!
I also got to hang out with Marsha at our work sales meetings in Texas. It is always great to see her and to catch up!
The last weekend in February, we had a girl's weekend in Waco. We got to visit Magnolia Market and we stayed in a house that was featured on Season 2, episode 9. It was the mid-century modern house and it was so cool to get to stay there and see how the house was transformed!
We also got to hang out with my childhood friend, Laura who works for Chip and Joanna Gaines. It was so fun to spend the day with her and see her gorgeous house. She was the best little tour guide!
It was crazy busy when we were there, but we all found a bunch of goodies!
How amazing is this house?
Obviously, we had way too much fun!
This is the outside of the house. As we were packing up and loading our cars, there were people driving by and taking pictures of the house, so crazy!
This past weekend, I traveled to St. Louis with some of my best friends from high school. We celebrated Jan's Bachelorette Party and it was so much fun! We got to be in a St. Patrick's Day parade which was tons of fun. It was pretty cold, but it was snowing and it was so beautiful.
This was our view of Busch Stadium from our hotel window.
Love these sweet friends!
The whole group....loved getting to meet all of Jan's friends from all walks of her life.
