What I'm Loving Wednesday- Target Style!

I'm linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I made the mistake of going to Target this morning to buy a birthday gift for a friend......BAD IDEA. I ended up looking around at everything for about an hour and I found so many things I wanted. However, I'm proud to say the only thing I left with was a gift. Seriously, Target has the cutest stuff right now. Here are a few pics of the few things I wanted oh so badly. If anyone is wondering what to get me for my birthday in April, a Target card would be the perfect gift....I kid! Hope you all have a great day...I'm going to go enjoy this beautiful weather!

Valentine's Day!

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day. I also hope this post isn't too mushy/corny/cheesy for you, but I'm just giving you a fair warning. I wanted to share a little bit about my Valentine's Day. Aaron and I met for dinner after work and then saw The Vow. It was a very cute/sweet movie and yes, I did cry........but it doesn't hold a candle to The Notebook. However, I would still recommend that you see the movie. I just love Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum so much.

Aaron and I enjoy spending time together so obviously we like any excuse to go out on a date, but we don't go all out for Valentine's Day. It used to be a requirement that we only spend $20 on a gift and it had to be homemade, but after so many years, Aaron was running out of crafty ideas. So now we usually just get the usual cards, flowers, candy, etc...and I'm not complaining about it one bit. Here are the gorgeous flowers I got. I'm so glad they weren't roses. I like roses, but sometimes they're just plain and boring. I am in love with all the pretty flowers and colors in this arrangement. Nice job, Aaron. He also got me a card, box of chocolates, and he made me a CD of all my favorite songs. He also threw in Wade Bowen's CD with it :)

so pretty have you guys heard of a gurgle pot? It's a pitcher, in the shape of a fish, that gurgles when you pour it. My mom and dad bought me a gurgle pot for Valentine's Day in moss green and I love it! Thanks mom and dad!

I had no idea what to get Aaron so I browsed Pinterest (my trustworthy, all-knowing, best friend) and found a few fun ideas. Yes, they're corny and cheesy, but if you know me, I'm pretty much a corny/cheesy person. After all, I am my mother's daughter so I didn't really have much of a chance (sorry mom, love you). The labels on the pop bottles I downloaded from Pinterest and the other ones I made myself. Some of the sayings on the candy I got from Pinterest and some of them I came up with. I think I got a bigger kick out of it than Aaron did, but he was excited to have some treats to take to work.

I was just going to throw it all in a big basket, but I found these two buckets at Dollar Tree and thought they'd be perfect for Aaron since he loves baseball and hunting. They are supposed to be Easter baskets, but oh well!

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I hope you all had a great weekend. My weekend was wonderful. It was filled with lots of fun things and the people I love.

#1. Thursday night, Aaron and I went to the Jason Aldean/Luke Bryan concert with Lauren Alaina opening. It was an awesome concert. I have a new love for Luke Bryan. He is so fun to watch perform and you can tell he loves what he does! He likes to dance and shake his booty...you can tell he's a fun/goofy guy!

Heading to the concert

#2. Friday night I saw Wade Bowen in concert. We stood in the second row so we got to see him up close and personal. I loved every minute of it! How precious is he? LOVE him!

#3. My sweet friend/college roomie, Caitlin, called me this week to see what I was doing on Sat night. She needed to get her hair done and was willing to drive 3 hours to let me do it. I was so excited when she told me that because I haven't seen her in almost 6 months. We went to dinner, did hair, went to church, shopped, and of course caught up on all the latest gossip in our lives. It was fabulous and i'm so glad she came!

this was her hair inspiration
and here's the final product. I LOVE it. It looked so pretty on her!

#4. Sunday, this guy showed up to watch the Super Bowl with me and my family. Of course, it was a great time with lots of yummy food!

I'm looking forward to this upcoming weekend and my road trip to Ft. Smith to visit all my favorite friends from college. Praying the weather will be nice enough for me to travel!!

Hope you all are having a great week!!

Happy Wednesday!

Love,

Quincee

Happy 24th birthday to a very very very special best friend!! As you can see from the pics, we are definitely not normal people.....and that is why I think we're such great friends! I'm so thankful for her friendship and that we were able to meet in college and spend four fantabulously fun years together. I always know I can count on Alli, no matter how far apart we live....and everytime we reunite, it's like we never skipped a beat. I know she's going to kill me for posting these pics, but we always used to post blackmail pics on our facebook pages when it was the other one's birthday. I'm pretty sure that if you looked through all my old pictures from college, you wouldn't be able to find very many normal pictures of the two of us. All of these pictures remind me of the fun times we had and the memories we made. I miss you so much Allie!! I hope you have the best birthday ever. Can't wait till the next time we get to hang out!! LOOOOVVEEEEE YOUUUUUUU!!!!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

Happy February 1st everyone!

Today I'm linking up with Jamie for What I'm Loving Wednesday!

February is a month surrounded by love and there's a lot for me to love about this month....tons of exciting, fun things going on!

#1. Tomorrow, Aaron and I will be attending the Jason Aldean & Luke Bryan concert. That was my Christmas present from him and I'm sooo excited!

how adorable is Luke Bryan??

#2. Next Thursday, Aaron and I will be attending the George Strait & Martina McBride concert. That was my Christmas present for him. We decided this year to buy each other concert tickets because that's one thing we love doing together and we really didn't need anything else.

hello George, you sure are easy on the eyes for a man your age.

#3. This Friday, I'll be attending the WADE BOWEN concert with my best friend and my brother and his wife. If you know me at all, you know that I have a huge obsession with WADE BOWEN! I am SOSOSOSOSOSO excited.

This is by far my favorite Wade Bowen song. The words are so sweet. If you ever see him in concert, you will realize that he has a great voice and he's extremely cute when he sings and plays the guitar. Aaron gets annoyed with my obsession with Wade. Anytime his song is on the radio, all talking must cease until the song is over.

#4. I'm excited to spend Valentine's Day with Aaron. We don't usually go all out or do anything big for Valentine's Day...usually just go to dinner and a movie. This year I'm hoping we will go see The Vow!!!

Here is a picture from my first Valentine's Day with Aaron.....over five years ago. We look like little babies. I found this on Pinterest.....haha.

#5. Next weekend I will be making a road trip to my old stomping grounds to celebrate this crazy girl's 24th birthday! So excited to see all my favorites whom I've missed so dearly!#6. My best friend and I just booked our flight to Seattle to visit our best friend, Marcus! We are super excited. We will be there for a week in March and will spend St. Patty's day there. I've never been there before and I can't wait to explore the city while Marcus is at work and spend the evenings hanging out with him and his friends!! YAYYY!!! This is how excited we are......
....to see this guy!

Hope you guys enjoy this beautiful day! Today's my day off and the weather is absolutely gorgeous so I'm gonna go take advantage of it.
