Pumpkin Patch Fun!

Aaron and I marked item #2 off of our fall bucket list last weekend by visiting a pumpkin patch. Aaron said it was his first time at a pumpkin patch and I've been to quite a few before, but this one was definitely the coolest and biggest one I've been to. They had camel rides, train rides, zip lining, a haunted corn maze, an animal petting zoo, a big slide, and a pig scramble. Are you wondering what a pig scramble is? Well, so was I.

We watched our first pig scramble and it was quite comical. They put two pigs in a circle arena and attached a ribbon to the tail of one pig. Each kid pays a $1 to play and the goal is to get the ribbon off of the pigs tail without touching the pig. These pigs were smart and you could tell they've played the game before. Some of the kids got taken out by the pigs and fell in the poopy/muddy mess. We laughed the entire time.

We had a great time. The weather was beautiful and it was a fun Sunday activity to do together. We each bought a pumpkin to carve. They ended up only being $6 for two pumpkins. Plus, we found these sweet scarecrows at Big Lots on the way there for $4 a piece. They are boyfriend/girlfriend and I think they're pretty cute.  Can't wait to carve pumpkins this week!
