Holiday Home Tour 2015

I'm linking up with Andrea at Momfessionals to give you a look into our home this Christmas season. I love to look back on these posts and see how our decorations have evolved over our almost three years of marriage. I try to add a few decorations here and there and I always love adding a few new homemade touches throughout. This year is my favorite of all three years, mainly because we now have a fireplace and a bigger tree!

This is my new front door wreath. I made it during a girl's shopping trip and this was our craft. I must admit, my front porch is pretty sad because this is the only decoration on it. That's what I'm going to work on adding next year is some front porch/yard décor, but for this year it will do.
This year I really wanted to add a cute table runner and tree skirt. I found the merry table runner at TJMAXX for $14.99. The merry is beaded and it's really cute up close.
I also added the black and white checked placemats. They were on sale in the Target dollar bin so of course I couldn't pass them up.
I also added this cookie jar. I found it at Michael's craft store on sale for $12. I kind of have a thing for the cars/trucks with trees on the top.
This is our front entry way. All of the decorations used here are things I've had from years past.
So are these items right next to the front door. The canvases, trees, and snowmen were my homemade project from our first Christmas together.
This is probably my favorite addition to the decorations this year. I stumbled upon this cardboard reindeer puzzle kit in the dollar bin at Target and I couldn't resist it.
 I absolutely love it!
Our front room. The small tree used to be what we used as our main tree. It looks so small now that we have the big tree.

I found this candle at TJMAXX. It smells so good. Peppermint candles are the best!
Here is our big tree in the den. My parents got a new tree so they graciously gave us their old one. We love having a bigger tree that can hold our ever growing ornament collection.
This is my favorite Christmas present that I got last year. I collect Willow Tree Angels so last year Aaron's mom bought me the beginning pieces of the Willow Tree Angel nativity scene. I was so excited to put it out this year. Can't wait to eventually complete it and have all the pieces.
Here is the fireplace during the day.

And here it is at night. I bought the NOEL marquee letters in Canton for $20. Couldn't beat a deal like that! I wish I would have bought more of their Christmas decorations for the porch/outside.
 The stockings were hung...

I added the stockings and stocking holders this year. I bought the burlap stockings while in Canton and I painted our names on them. The stocking holders are from Hobby Lobby. They are chalkboards so I just wrote on them with chalk paint. You can also take the chalkboards out and put pictures in them instead.
 And my favorite little corner.
I have really enjoyed my chalkboard and changing it with all the seasons. I also have loved my mattress spring wedding gift (thanks Carla!) that I use to display the flowers. Here's a look at how it has changed throughout the seasons.

  3. I love your wreath - that is too cute and the stockings and holders and the JOY sign are adorable as well. Also, just wanted to wave hello from an Arkansan, though I am now living in Texas. Hope you are enjoying my home state! :)
